Go hang out in the IRC channel, there's usually a bunch of people in there, even when no one's in the game's servers.

This game is still alive and to be honest, it will still be growing. However if you want full servers, you'll have to wait until later in the day. This game is amazing, the community is awesome, and you are going to have an awesome experience while playing this game for hours. I recommend investing in this game and to also invite your friends for an even richer experience.

Yeah, I've clocked up over 200 hours... not bad for a $10 game that's still in development!
